Increase Your Recruiting Success
Looking to grow your team this summer? Here are a few tips to help you recruit more team members and position you for greater growth this Fall/Winter.
- One of the biggest mistakes that everyone makes when recruiting is to look for that one perfect recruit. If you do that you will pass up 10 others who would be good for your team.
- Speak to everyone about the Scentsy opportunity, but don’t “try” to recruit everyone. Just have a natural conversation about your Scentsy story and how it has meet your needs.
- Don’t wait for someone to approach you about the opportunity. Most people will not ask you.
- Let the people you know who have the right qualities to succeed, why you think they would benefit from their own Scentsy business. Don’t be fake, but be sure to compliment! Listen to their needs and show how Scentsy can fill them. For instance, if someone needs extra income and wants a job, don't tell her about the cruises or other prizes. They won’t listen to you if you don’t respond with the information they need to know.
- Don’t just recruit at parties. You can recruit at the grocery store, laundromat, or your son or daughter’s T-Ball game. Always be listening for recruiting opportunities!
- Listen to the person who loves everything, can't afford much, is looking for a job, bored, and/or wanting something to do because their children are grown or they want to stay home with their children. Please don't overlook people who already have a great job- for these are the people who want to work and make something of their lives.
